Casey Baugh – Static Opening
Casey Baugh a young talented artist not new to the art scene but starting fresh. “I’ve been painting for 10 years and right now I feel like I’m starting all over again with a whole new set of materials, problems, and challenges,”  says Casey Baugh.  “I feel like this is what I should have been doing from the beginning.” I loved the model poses throughout the paintings, it showed a lot of character and expression. It was truly inspirational as an artist to see the techniques, progress and development of Casey. Looking forward to his next opening! enjoy.

RIDING IN THE CITY POST HURRICANE SANDY
10.30.12 – I WENT BIKE RIDING WITH A Â FRIEND TO GO HAVE A GLIMPSE OF HURRICANE SANDY’S AFTERMATH! I STARTED IN MY HOMETOWN QUEENS Â WHERE WE SAW SOME TREES FALLEN OVER AND SOME SIGNS DOWN BUT NOT AS CRAZY AS OTHER PARTS OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY. WE WENT DOWN INTO THE SUBWAY TO HOPEFULLY CAPTURE SOME IMAGES OF A FLOODED SUBWAY STATION BUT THERE WAS NO WATER FLOOD. THEN WE MADE OUR WAY OVER THE QUEENS BOROUGH BRIDGE. WE WENT DOWN THE EAST SIDE Â AND UP THE WEST SIDE OF MANHATTAN. IT WAS CRAZY TO SEEÂ GIGANTIC TREES ON THE FLOOR AND THE ONLY SIGN OF GAS GOING DOWN, LITERALLY. Â IT WAS A DARK AND GLOOMY DAY FOR MY FELLOW NEW YORKERS BUT NEW YORKER’S ARE TOUGH SO WE’LL GET THROUGH THIS!Â
JUSTIFICATION!
Good times with GREAT friends! I enjoyed some drinks at the Gansevoort Park Hotel rooftop with some friends then went to grab some dinner at The Hurricane Club which has the most delicious coconut rice and then surprised a friend with concert tickets to a JUSTICE show @ the Hammerstein Ballroom. Chromeo opened up for justice, we couldn’t have asked for more. We finally went to a hidden rehearsal studio inside of the QUEENS World Fair where i saw a UFO fly by and a picture to prove it! Last but not least Crysto Martyr band performed to put the icing on the cake to a great day! Well i hope you enjoy the pictures and video!!!
RED BULL CURATES SHOW!
I recently attended the RED BULL CURATES show. Met a lot of talented brooklyn artist that showed off their skills on the red bull coolers. Â It was a contest for a spot at the Miami Art Basel! I got to meet a huge inspiration of mine as an artist, RON ENGLISH which was one of the judges for the contest. There was a dj spinning live funky, indie, hip music and an open bar, i couldn’t ask for more. I HAD A BLAST! enjoy the pictures!
